Who Are We

Who We Are

We want to offer a different way to think about and improve the quality of life of both animals and people. By stepping away from the traditional mindset of the role of a veterinarian and by looking at the mind and body in a different way, we can not only improve the outcomes of patients but help families be empowered to have more quality time with their pets!

Dr. Emily provides veterinary physical rehabilitation therapy. Tulsa Animal Rehab & Wellness utilizes a well rounded and individualized approach of physical rehabilitation exercises, stretching, massage, multiple modalities (such as photobiomodulation therapy/laser therapy, pulsed magnetic field therapy, and (EMS)Electrical Muscle Stimulation), hot stone massage, and more.

Dr. Emily also provides behavioral modification therapy for canines and felines. The majority or all of the training can be accessible on an online platform with an in person private training option.

With every animal’s needs and pet parent’s goals as a priority, Dr. Emily tailors each visit to be as beneficial as possible with more one-on-one time with a veterinarian who is looking at the whole picture of what is going on to promote the best quality of life for any situation.

There is an increasing realization nationally in veterinary medicine that animal behavior and cognition, as well as veterinary canine rehabilitation therapy is an important part of what encompasses our responsibilities in regards to the ultimate goal of providing the best quality of life for the animals in our care. General practice, although critically vital, is not always the best setting for rehabilitation and behavioral therapy.

From post operative knee surgery improved outcomes to arthritic geriatric patient quality of life and beyond, veterinary rehabilitation therapy has been proven to improve animal's lives. Appropriate training and behavior modification therapy has been a staple in improving quality of life in animals and allows for improved relationships with pet parents.

Being that we see pets sent to shelters for behavioral issues, emotionally and physically damaging electrical collars being applied as a mainstay of training, and dogs bred for jobs being confined and medicated instead of getting the mental stimulation they need, Tulsa Animal Rehab & Wellness believes it is imperative to provide a service that can give both mental and physical healing in a science backed and better way for the animals in our community.
